Madison, WI Bubble Tea

So, I relocated to Madison from New Jersey/New York in August of 2006. I miss the ability to get REALLY GREAT chinese food and dim sum, but I would settle for some bubble tea. Is there any here!?

I was sure that since this is a college town, there would be bubble tea here, but this delicious drink seems to have passed the town by!

  1. I know of two places for bubble tea. Nam's noodles on regent. Pretty tasty food too by madison standards. And Wah kee on williamson street. Both have very limited flavors. but its better than nothing.

    1. And try China Palace up on Sherman near the airport -- uneven, but when it's on, it's certainly at the good New Jersey level (another New Jersey transplant here.)

I haven't been there for awhile, but I believe SA-BAI THONG on University has bubble tea...good Thai food too.

      2. I realize you posted this over two years ago, but I wanted to let you know that there's a new place, called Bubble Island, that's devoted exclusively to bubble tea. It's in the East Campus Mall food court, between University and Johnson.

Wah Kee, on Willy St., has stopped serving bubble tea. But Nam's Noodle, on Regent St., still has it -- they serve taro, honeydew, green tea, and mango flavors.

Bubble Island in the East Campus Mall food court closed May 2011, along with the rest of the food court there.
