Shrimp & grits in Savannah: Who has the best?

Am sending a friend there in a couple of weeks and want to steer him to the right place.

  1. Elizabeth's on 37th was one of the first places to ever put it on a menu. They do a good job with it, and they're pricey.

    Sometimes Pink House/Garabaldi's will have it on the menu. They always do a good job. (they're managed by the same company and have menu overlap)

    1. Paula Dean does them right with plenty of butter if thats your thing,,,,

        Two problems with Paula Dean's, first you'll have to stand in line outside on the hot side walk for an hour, second, you'll have to eat her food.

        Paula Deens strength is her public relations consultants.
