When???
Does anyone have the scoop on when they'll open?

    Go down to the middle of the page - supposedly working for July opening. They have pictures of the space and it looks like there won't be the same problem as SM in regards to capacity and seating. Thankfully they'll still have burgers, sounds like Sang would get rid of the if the demand wasn't so strong.

    1. I walked past on Sunday and the sign said "Fall 07". It didn't look 4-6 weeks away to me so that may be more accurate than July, but it's anyone's guess.

        LAeater backs you up on that...this is from today 7/20:

        UPDATE: It was too good to be true. Sang emailed to say that FO II will probably debut this fall.

      2. Yes, December 2007. The contractors have just notified me that it will open at the end of this year.

          Thats my understanding as well, although they had a little snafu with the bar so not sure if that will affect the opening.

          Also look out for the party bus around that time as well. Rent it out for parties and get Father's Office burgers & full beer taps brought to your door. That's going to do HUGE business with the Studios.

            Was chit chatting with the bouncer when I was waiting in line the other day and word has it that they won't happen now till mid Feb... :(

                  And how crowded are they at this new location?
                  Has this Culver City opening thinned out the crowds at their original place?

                    sorry, didn't realize it was a new location. I don't know anything about that.

                      Odds are it will be crowded, thanks to all the restaurants opening the area, it's VERY crowded there now, especially on the weekends. We decided to go out to eat last minute to the new organic place and were refused seating there, then fords, then fraiche... yeesh...

                              They had a number out front for hiring servers (guess that's encouraging), I've tried calling it for info on when they'll open - but no one picks up. I'm going to drive by there again tomorrow to try and get to the bottom of this mystery.

                    2. My understanding is that at the new Culver City location, they will have a condiment bar so each patron can dress one's burger to their individual, unique specifications and preferences!

                        That doesn't sound like Sang?! No Soup for you ;)

                        I for one like the fact that Sang puts food on the menu he likes and doesn't compromise. He does have good taste.

                          No, the way I understand it you can add the bacon-onion compote or some chopped onion and baco bits, bleu cheese and gruyere or slices of american in the plastic wrap...
