Good diners or other humble establishments in Doylestown,

We are going to Doylestown on Sunday June 24, and want to find a good but not necessarily fancy place to have lunch. Can someone recommend a diner or similar kind of place that isn't fancy but has good food?

Another great place is the Duck Deli in CHalfont (5 min outside of Doylestown proper). Very laid back atmosphere, great BBQ, great sandwiches (tuna hoagie is amazing).

Thanks! We'll keep this as a backup in case the Cross Keys is mobbed. It's getting harder and harder to find decent tuna salad, so I'm looking forward to trying their tuna hoagie.

Even if they're mobbed, I would wait. They move 'em in and out pretty quickly. They close at 2:30, but sometimes a little earlyish. There's more info on them on this site if you search.

The cornmeal pancakes are really good, too, I forgot to say. They only make them on the weekends.

I haertily recommend the tomato bisque at Cross Keys Diner, if they have it. Fantastic.

Crosskeys Diner on Swamp Rd, not far from 611. Best diner in town for sure and great, great food.
