Late Night Dining Near Grand Central Station?

I will be flying into NY on Friday night and my hotel is near Grand Central. I probably won't be eating till 10 or 11 and am looking for something good and casual that doesn't require reservations. I was thinking of taking a cab down to Momofuko Sssam Bar but I'm worried that there's going to be be too much of a wait. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Smith & Wollensky, on the corner of 3rd Av. & 49th St. (a short walk from your hotel), is open until midnight, and Wollensky's Grill serves until 2 a.m. At the hour you're planning on eating, you might not need a reservation. But it's always safer to check.

For one, you'll be able to grab a bar seat pretty easily at Momofuku Ssam Bar.
