A friend and I want to meet for lunch between our offices, so that we can both walk there. Someplace near 6th Avenue in the low 40s would be ideal. Any suggestions of good place to grab a decent, inexpensive lunch?

Thanks!

  1. Why not try Virgils? 44th between broadway and 6th. Or if you are members of MOMA, go to the second floor cafe, very good Italian antipasto and panini and pastas.

Also Osteria al Doge is good Italian with a rustic atmosphere, also 44th between broadway and 6th.

      MoMA is on 53rd St.

    2. That's an excellent question for this website:

      It's his specialty.

      1. Utsav, on 46th Street and 6th , has a wonderful Indian buffet at lunch time, very reasonable, very pleasant surroundings--upstairs.
