Need a casual b-day dinner spot for 12 people

I'm looking for a fairly casual spot for 12 people to have a (29th) birthday dinner. Either Boston or Cambridge is fine. I've thought of Fire & Ice, but the times I've been there the food is just ok. I would love to go somewhere with good food that won't break the bank for the group. Thanks!

First place that comes to mind is also on Church Street in Cambridge - Cambridge One. The pizzas and salads are really good and they have a great big table that you could all sit at.

More info about the group (rowdy? or mellow?) and the style of food you may be interested in would be helpful.

Thanks! I've never been to Cambridge One. Nothing too rowdy - I'd rather not have it be like Dick's last resort - but fun is good. Basically, we are up for whatever as long as the food is decent. I'd like to stay away from Chinese or anything too ethnic because even though I love it, I'm guessing pleasing 12 people with something too out of the oridinary might be tough. I've also thought of John Harvard's but I haven't been there in years.

Christopher's in Porter Sq. might work.

I've been to Grotto in Beacon Hill with big groups. The food is very good and quite reasonably priced.
