Rehearsal Dinner in Long Beach/San Pedro?
Hi chowhounds! I'm beginning the search for rehearsal dinner locations and am in need of some suggestions for the Long Beach/San Pedro area. We're going to have a lot of out-of-towners (including me and my fiance), so I don't want folks to have to drive far. I'm not looking for something really formal -- more fun. Probably will have about 30 people at the dinner. I'd like American cuisine with a bit of variety, and not opposed to chains in order to keep the costs down (a la cheesecake factory). Appreciate your help!

La Palapa Del Mar (in Long Beach) is a great, fun place for a group. The owners will take great care of you, and the bartenders are the best.
They just set up a new patio area right on the water, so the view is great. I've never had a negative experience there with either food or service.
