Is there anyplace in St. Louis that makes an egg cream? This is a New York drink (which has no egg and no cream), and the drink disappeared as the soda fountains in New York disappeared.

You can get an egg cream at Jennifer's Pharmacy in Clayton. They're delicious.

They'll make one for you at Crown Candy Kitchen (1401 St. Louis Ave)
It's not on the menu, just ask for it.

We've moved a reply that includes a recipe for an egg cream to the Home Cooking Board--please follow that discussion here: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/412944

          Thank you!

They have them at the local version of the chain Cheeburger Cheeburger, on the outside of Chesterfield Mall.
