So I’m just about to head out to the Slow Food fair in Marieville and was wondering if anyone on the board belongs to Slow Food Québec? The sign up fee is $90/year and I was wondering if it was worth the money to be come member? ( you get a card that offers discounts at some local stores, a newsmagazine…) Is anyone else going to the food fair? What did you think? I’m pretty excited about going!

Please tell us about the Slow Food fair! I'm working on/going to another (not-primarily-food-related, though some food content) event these days, so I can't go - would have no idea how to get to Marieville (without a car) anyway... Very interesting event - I have been to Slow Food and Confédération paysanne food events in Italy and France - always very interesting to talk to the producers.
