Hi All,

I'm a recent transplant from LA and I cannot find any frozen yogurt place in DC! Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much!

DC is not known as a great Fro Yo town, but there are some places. Are you looking for any specific kind (low carb? no sugar? soft serve ice cream? columbo?).

Thomas Sweets: Delicious, 8 flavors, one sugar free and two 10 cal/ounce (supposedly)Georgetown-Wisconsin & P St.

Cone E. Island: 2000 Penn Ave: Near GWU. Six flavors, great peanut butter and strawberry, two 10/cal ounce kind (so so, not bad)

Sweet Licks: 17th St. & R (not good)

Griffins: Many locations: Friendship Height, Penn Quarter, etc: Chocolate and Vanilla no sugar added. I don't think it's that good.

Max's Ice Cream: Wisconsin and Calvert (I believe) in Glover Park across from the Whole Foods: Not very good and mean staff. They say it's only 10 cals and no chemicals. I don't believe them since the owner claims he makes it from scratch by himself. Isn't all fro yo chemicals anyways.

There are some Baskin Robbins around (Woodley Park among other places) that have fro yo.

Larry's Ice Cream on Conn Ave in Dupont has chocolate and vanilla frozen yogurt

Thanks for the info! I tried thomas sweets today and liked it... it hit the fro yo spot.
