I LOVE my Miele appliances and here's another reason why...
Love my Miele vac, the cooktop and oven, and, of course, the dishwasher. I've been a Miele customer for over 20 years...the stuff is intelligently designed, looks gorgeous, works as it should, and (almost) never has a problem.
Except for yesterday when my dw went down. I called Miele. They ran me through some possible fixes on the phone but no go. They then set me up for a service call & I asked if they could expedite the call as my husband had just gotten home from the hospital and was still unwell. At this time, a functioning dw is particularly important. A service rep was here about an hour later, diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary parts, will return Tues (the first day he will have the parts) & make the repair.
Even tho the dw is past warranty, they are extending the warranty (with no cost to me) and the repair will be made w/o charge.
If you are considering new appliances, do consider Miele. Personally, ever since I bought my first Miele dw about 20 years ago, I have never purchased another brand and never will. IMO they are the "the best."

Yes, Manhattan. Even so, I was stunned by the speedy response...

About 8 months ago we purchased a Miele dishwasher, and so far it has presented no problems to us. Although it took me a few moments to get used to the new inside configuration (with the top silverware drawer), I do like it.
As with all major appliances, and doctors, too, you never know how good they are until you need service. I am really glad to know that they have come through for you.
