Loking for casual eats and brewpub recs in the central coast area.

    specifically which "central coast:? SCruz/ Monterey counties (bay area board)

    or SLO/Pismo/Paso Robles?(Calif board) both call themselves the "central coast."

      In Paso...
      Villa Creek is excellent upscale Southwestern faire. Across the street is Bistro Laurent, also very good. And, the Paso Robles Inn serves great 'cowboy' food. All in all, Paso has some great restaurants.

      There are lots of recommendations on the California Board for this--you should do a search there, and you can make a request for tips there as well!

        Hello again and thank for the recs so far and my apologies for the vagueness of my last post. The area I was interested in is Monterey to Santa Cruz and as far east as Hollister. I did post on the California and beer boards but recs were few.mostly looking for burger and beer joints especially brewpubs. Thanks again.
