Sabra Hummus

Snakebite Jun 16, 2007 06:36 AM

In the NYC area hummus made by Sabra is most delicious I have ever had - store bought or homemade.

Hummus sold under Sabra in the Providence area is available - but it is either a different company or a different distributor that uses a completely different recipe.

Does anyone know where to get Sabra hummus in SE New England that is the real thing?

I bought Sabra quite a while ago at Big y when out in western MA. I believe all their shops may carry it. I was as impressed with it as you! Yum!

I found the hummus in both Stew Leonard's (Newington) and A&P (Food Mart) in Berlin.

I also saw Sabra Hummus at Stew Leonard's and tried it for the first time. I though it was definitely the best store bought hummus I'd ever tasted. It has the smoothest texture and fresh flavor. Since then, I have seen it in all the stores...Shoprite, Stop & Shop, etc. I mean it's everywhere. I think you should have no problem finding it.
