I recently dined at Sima (1771 Woodman Dr -- near Woodman and Patterson) and really enjoyed it. It is Korean but also has Japanese items and sushi. They have tables for Korean barbeque.

re: Niki in Dayton
Maybe it was an off night when my family visited last year, but I thought Sima's bulgogi was terrible-- overly sweet and hardly any other discernible flavor. Everything else we ordered seemed fine (if a bit pricey) but I can't remember what we got except for the large scallion/vegetable pancake that was, I believe, listed as an appetizer. THAT was delicious, and more than big enough for half a dozen people to share.
My experience with Korean food is limited, however, and I've only been to a small handful of places. I'd like to try some of the other restaurants listed in this thread.

Yes, there is a large AF base in the Dayton area, and military members stationed in Korea=Korean spouses=Korean restaurants. There are three near the base, which is actually a bit north east of the city of Dayton (but close), in the city of Fairborn. Yijo Garden is at 1030 Kauffman Ave and I believe serves both Korean and Japanese food. Seoul House, at 1864 Col Glenn Hwy in Fairborn is the one that my Korean friends most often frequent. I've been and enjoy the nam mool (sp?) as well as many of their other dishes. There is also Myong's Cafe at 1328 Kauffman; I've heard decent things about it but haven't been yet. Many of the "generic" Chinese restaurants in the Dayton area are actually run by Koreans, and some of them serve Korean dishes as well, but as turn over in that business is fairly swift, I don't have any current recommendations. I think your best bet is Seoul House, actually.
Cheers,
