What a disaster sisley was!

  • 7

I was starving and a friend of mine insisted that we go to Sisley... The food was horrible first we got someone else's dishes and then my lunch date got her food while mine came at the end of her meal, the service was pathetic, and what's funny is that I spoke with the manager and he was very proud of his DUMP!!!

I say stay away from Sisley in Sherman oaks and Valencia... bad food, poor service, and as idiot as a manager!

  1. Wow, that's never been my experience. Always had great service and pretty good food there... Love the grilled veggie app and Chopped Chicken Salad w/ eggplant! Too bad your experience was so awful.

Emme, all they had to do to make up was >> come over to the table and apologize then bring me my dish asap! I am not expecting great service(Morton's, Ruths Chris, Belvedere,...) I would have been happy with mediocre

I understand that it takes little to repair a quickly souring experience; I was just saying that I had never encountered that. I'm hoping that it was an off day rather than an offing trend.

    2. In further news, Louise's also sucks.

      1. That's what you get for going to a place whose commercials are famous for a guy saying over and over again how much he likes the bread. Notice no one else on the commercial says how much they like any oher dish.

but hey, he likes the bread...

By the way, the manager in Encino doesn't manage Valencia as well. ther's also one near the apple Pan, Don't go to that one, either.

        1. I agree with you ! Every time I have gone to Sisley in Valencia I either had bad food or bad service, or both! The manager is an idiot and completely unapologetic, not worth his weight in bread!

          1. My one bad experience at the Sherman Oaks had a happy ending. My cannoli was so slow to arrive that they comped it without being asked. That earned a gold star in my book.
