ISO family style italian in baltimore/towson

My family is coming up for a lax tourney in towson this weekend and we're looking for a family style italian restaraunt in the area. We have a car so distance isn't too much of an issue. Not interested in chains or pizza joints. Thanks for your help!

  1. If by "family style" you mean places that serve entrees with several portions, I can't think of any.

But there are so many good family-friendly choices in the Little Italy section of Baltimore and so many threads already on this board (simply search "Little Italy" and they'll all come up) that it's probably not worth starting a new thread. Give that a shot.

    1. My family really likes Fazzinis in Timonium (just north 5 min. of Towson), I am not a big fan myself.

      1. Sammy's Trattoria in Mt. Vernon (corner of Preston and Charles) serves family style. I wasn't terribly impressed with what I had there, but I recall the review that I read commented on how huge the family style dishes were. We didn't have any pasta dishes, which perhaps was what we should have focused on, given the review. I think it was in the City Paper, and they were pleased with the quality of Sammy's food.
