        <content>Just tried this one for the very first time.    Very very good.  Great nose, decent head, amazing balance between the malt and the hops.    Just beautiful.

It is a barleywine, so don't pound a 6-pack and head off to your job at the air traffic control tower.</content>

      <content>I understand the folks at the brewery prefer it fresh, when the hop oil coats your lips. I guess I prefer it that way too. I do have a bottle or two of older BF in the closet, however.

Replying to the OP, this is a seasonal beer, due to appear again next Feb.</content>

      <content>I didn't think this year's Bigfoot was all that great in comparison to other year's (same with the celebration). Usually the hop profile is a bit rougher with much more hop aroma. This year it was smooth right out of the gate and didn't have that pungent nose it usually has - but still a great beer and one of the few bottled beers I am willing to buy. </content>
