What's the name of that new restaurant on 17th street between Valencia and Mission?

It's kind of posh and right next to a gift shop. I've been meaning to try it but I can't remember what it's called and it's too new to show up in the regular places I'm looking.

If you are off a few blocks, a really new place is Bar Bambino on 16th between Mission and Valencia. Maverick's been around since summer 2005.

So new that it wasn't there when the Google streetview cameras went through. . .

Or could be Regalito on 18th between Mission and Valencia.

Or could be Farina on 18th between Valencia and Guerrero. But I'm guessing OP didn't know Maverick wasn't new. The others aren't near a gift shop (that I can think of).

Yes, there's a very nice gift/home furnishings shop called Aldea (3338 17th) right near Maverick (3316 17th).

To make this about Maverick, they have great brunch and have been very welcoming to us even with a small child.

Highly recommend Maverick, great brunch spot and dinner need a reservation. Love the fried chicken!
