Indian Pizza in El Sobrante - Punjab Palace

Jonathan Kauffman reports on an Indian pizza place in El Sobrante in today's East Bay Express. More variety of toppings than Zante in SF. Anybody tried it?

Review also mentions Chinese-KC fusion BBQ at The Ark in Alameda, and halal Lebanese-Mexican at Los Olivos in Fremont.

    Hey man,

Going to need more info. I know there's a place coming in to El Sob, off on the right from Raley's that sports a sign that says, "Curry - Pizza".
I'll hit that this week easy and had planned on it. Is that it?

It's the place next to The Cellar and in the same plaza as Jones BBQ. I've been meaning to try the ginger pizza, but haven't got to it yet. The guy also makes some nice looking Indian sweets.

Los Olivos in Fremont has changed ownership. It no longer offers the Lebanese-Mexican menu.

Just for reference, the Indian pizza place closed and has been replaced by a nice Thai/Vietnamese place called Champa.

Not to be confused with Champa Garden in Oakland.

Have you returned to Champa? I've been thinking of another lunch stop there on my ever-rarer visits to the area. And if so, what to order?

I've been there three times for dinner, working my way through the menu and haven't hit a dud yet.

Yeeeaah, this will sound bad coming from me, but I totally forgot what I had. It was hot and good ... but ...
