B&B prices (las vegas)
I have reservations for dinner in a couple of weeks and I just compared the prices at B&B to Babbo in NYC and I was surprised that everything cost at least $3 to $5 more and in the case of rib eye for two $30 more!!!! I can't believe it. Check it out for yourself. From what I read about B&B, the service is not even as good as Babbo. Mario what is going on?

Unfortunately for those of us that spend most of our time in Las Vegas, that is starting to become par for the course - "sister" properties routinely charge higher prices here. Perhaps the best example to use for a B&B/Babbo comparison might be Mesa Grill, since there is also that same NYC-Las Vegas component. The appetizers are all in the $1-2 range higher and the dinners are higher across the board, but particularly look at the steak entrees -
Chipotle Glazed Rib-Eye: $32 NYC, $42 Las Vegas
Red & Black Pepper Crusted Filet Mignon: $34 NYC, $42 Las VegasIs there a portion aspect to the variance? I do not know, having only eaten at the Las Vegas property. It is a place that my friends and I enjoy and will frequent often in the future, so it is also not a particular criticism. Rather it is a reflection on the pricing policies for restaurants on the Strip these days. We have wonderful dining options, but it is high-end retail.
