I'm having dinner at Canoe next Thursday. Has anyone been lately? Anything on the menu that I can't pass up?

Thanks in advance!

the most likely reply will be the fois gras...and it is truly fantastic.

The ravioli, lamb and bison are each fantastic. Enjoy the drinks, the service and the view. It tends to get a bit loud, but you'll have a great time.

We went about 2 weeks ago, and my wife had the sablefish - if it's still on the menu, it's a winner! She thought it was the best piece of fish she's ever had in her life!

I second the sablefish with the Newfoundland screech. I had it for my birthday dinner last year (as part of the 'Taste Fish' tasting menu), and not only did I feel it was the best piece of fish I've ever tasted, it was probably the single best item I've ever eaten.

My husband and I had the tasting menu, and we loved it.
