We have been invited to a small affair there.
Any special recommendations on what to order?
Is the food really good?

The Orechiette with Sausage and Broccoli Rabe is insane...by far the best version of the dish I've had. Love the polenta with smoked mozzarella also!

I love Crispo and always get the bone marrow! Yum! Huge bones split lengthwise with caramelized onions and raisins to spread on toast and bread with it.

Just went again last night to celebrate my engagement. Great as usual. Had: ricotta tartufi, risotto balls, zucchini flowers, mushroom pappardelle, and spaghetti w/meatballs. I'd recommend all.

of all the restaurants in the city...i find that crispo is at the top of the list with consistently good perceptions... salumi, pasta, meat, fish et; al. i love this place

The food is really very good, one of my favorite places to go to. I think the spaghetti carbonara is a must-have (it's delicious), and I like to get the whole roasted fish.
