Know a great steakhouse in Tulsa, OK? [moved from General Chowhounding Topics]

Anyone know a good steakhouse in Tulsa, OK?

  1. Mahogany's near 71st and Yale is the best IMO. We've hosted two out of town guests who frequent America's best steakhouses for business dinners, and they have both said Mahogany's ranks among the best they've had. I feel the service is spotty for the premium price you pay, but the food is consistent and fantastic.

    1. People who know say that Mahogany serves the best steaks. But you might want to try Jamil's for the ambiance and history... and to save a lot of money. It's the first restaurant discussed in this post:

      Also, I've eaten steaks from Stonehorse's store, so I assume that a steak in the restaurant is excellent too.

      1. If you don't mind going a bit off the beaten path, try Avalon's. Great steak and tons of history, and finally a new facility.
