UWS outdoor seating w/a good value!

I'm somewhat new to the neighborhood and am looking for a good place for dinner, not pricy, with outdoor seating. I've been told Fred's is pretty good but not worth the price. Any suggestions?

we enjoy sol y sombra but it might fall outside your "not pricy" range. for really cheap but the best view outside and cool hudson river breezes try the 79th street boat basin. it's terrific. and the "electric lemonade" is refreshing on a hot day.

Cafe Ronda if you like steaks. I like to get the Parrillada (mixed grill) and share between 2-3 people (for $30 it's a great meal).

Bin 71 now has outdoor seating, I like their meatball dish and salads.

breaded oysters, shrimp and white bean, portabello and mozzarella et. al.

Bella Luna on 88th(?) and Columbus. Good value, consistent food, inexpensive, good atmosphere.

Bella Luna is delicious though out door dining is a limited and cramp. I've personally enjoyed ALL my meals at Fred's. I don't consider the food expensive, you could EASILY be stuffed for under $20. I think the bigger issue is the wait.

French Roast has pretty decent food for not too expensive, I don't know if you want to be seated beside Broadway though.

Acqua has great al fresco and outdoor dining. Unfortunately, you will get very mixed reviews on this board about this place.

Isabella's if you are willing to wait. I think the brunch menu is decent, but the atmosphere is definitely enjoyable
