Miss Shirley's creamy smoked tomato vinaigrette

I had their excellent By the Shore salad (soft-shell crab, fried green tomato, goat cheese, corn, bacon, greens -- basically all my favorite things at once) and can't stop thinking about the dressing. But I'm at a loss on how to replicate. Any ideas from someone who's eaten it?

Where is Miss Shirley's? Salad sounds heavenly.

I had that salad last time I was there, it was tasty. Get the sweet potato fries too.

One drawback of Miss Shirley's is their seating policy, they refuse to seat you unless all members of your party are there. Both times they enforced it on me or my friends, they weren't too polite about it. I was told it was a carryover policy from when they were smaller, but there's nothing like being told that you can't be seated (once when 3 out of 4 members of our party were there) and seeing an almost completely empty restaurant.

Hopefully they'll get a clue, because after the second time they did it to me, I've been avoiding them.

I was there on a weekday once waiting for my dining companion and nobody gave me any trouble for sitting at a table while I waited. But I hear things are totally different on weekends.

The first time was a late, weekday lunch.

You must be better looking than me.
