Ceviche...to go?

chucklesmcfarland Jun 11, 2007 11:22 PM

Any place I can run in and grab some ceviche to go. Whole Foods doesn't count. :)

Changos on Guadalupe? La Salsa (chain) on Far West? I'd imagine, though, that just about anyone would pack some up to go if they have it on the menu.

Manuels, but they'll charge you the full $10, happy hour or no.

I'm sure Sazon would make some up for you - you could perhaps even call ahead. I enjoyed theirs greatly the last time I tried it.

No kidding. That might possibly be some of the best ceviche I've ever had. The flavor was so complex, not just citrus, but something deeper as well. And it's as big as my head!

Please, never eat the ceviche at whole foods. I purchased some yesterday thinking it would be great to have as an appetizer for dinner and just about vomited when I put it in my mouth. I couldnt get it down... the flesh exploded with flavor, too bad the flavor was aweful. I think Changos has some form of cerviche to go though.

Thanks for the tip, I was thinking about trying them.

And thanks for the restaurant suggestions, I was thinking more about some of the Mexican groceries around, never really ventured inside any of them.
