brunch/lunch between WLA & Seal Beach on Wed

i'm meeting a friend for an early lunch/late breakfast (10:30-am) on wednesday. she's coming from seal beach and i'm in west LA. any suggestions?? i haven't seen her in a while and we'd love a nice place to sit and chat.

cafe del rey doesn't open til 11:30.
lilly's doesn't open til noon.

i don't really know too many restaurants south of the marina.....

The friend from Seal Beach might not be too happy about that choice, assuming it's supposed to be more or less midway. Hermosa/Manhattan is probably fairest choice. I'm not good on suggestions other than Uncle Bill's Pancake House! Maybe you could post, "Breakfast in Hermosa or Manhattan Beach".
