Good Food in Syracuse?

I have been living in the Syracuse area for quite some time and have found it a bit difficult to find good restaurants. I am not saying that Syracuse is completely bereft of some quality cuisine but it definitely seems to be lacking considering it is a larger city and caters to quite the diverse population.

So, if I am missing all the good ones, what ARE the good restaurants. And please, don't tell me Dinosaur BBQ! Sure it's good, but I don't think it is all it's cracked up to be and shouldn't be the flagship of Syracuse cuisine. For instance: are there any good Greek (not just holes in the wall that serve microwaved gyros?), Spanish restaurants? Or some good Chinese? There are definitely some quality Mexican places, Japanese places, and a few Thai places, but I am really looking for something new.

Please help!

New Century Restaurant on Kirkpatrick St- we love the beef noodle soup.

For high end, I like Lemon Grass/238 Bistro (different rooms, same kitchen) in Armory Square. I have also had consistently fine meals at BC and L'Adour. None of these places are cheap. New Century is very good. Also for Vietnamese, Pho Saigon on Park Street. China Road in Mattydale is about the best Chinese around. Lately it has been inconsistent, but still worth a try.

Has anyone been to the Blue Tusk in Syracuse? I was looking at their menu and it looked great!
