Any Good Mexican on the Main Line?

We have lived in Ardmore for a little over a year now and have not found any decent Mexican restaurants on the Main Line. Are we missing anything?

Not quite "Main Line," but try Norristown. Lots of good places, incl. Tacqueria Michocana. In Blue Bell, Tamarindos. Otherwise, you have to go to the city.

PS Do not let anyone tell you Coyote Crossing is good Mexican. It is horrendous.

I agree on all counts. Also, the Taqueria Veracruzana recomendation above is excellent. Try the tacos al pastor if you go.

not quite Main Line either, but Los Mariachis in Phoenixville is authentic, really good & inexpensive. (great mole sauce) The staff speak very little English, so you can't make ordering complicated.

Ha, no.

If you want Mexican, come into the city and go to to South Philadelphia. Taqueria Veracruzana is great for tacos. There's also Taqueria Pueblita that's on 9th street--I think--it's a block from the Pat's/Geno's debacle. They are great.

Thanks, we used to live in South Philly and frequented Veracruzana often. We were just hoping that maybe there would be some good Mexican out here too...but alas I guess not.
