The set-up: Had dinner there on Thursday night for a friend's birthday. Not my choice of venue, but that being said away we go. Arrived there promptly for a 7:30 reservation for 8, we were finally sat by 8. The service was sub-par. Our server took our drink order and skipped two people. Is not that he failed to ask; rather he did not even acknowledge them. After returning with said order, drinks were incorrect. And at 14 dollars a ketel one, I would expect a hefty pour, but that is another story. Away he goes off to correct them. At this point, I am getting a bit concerned since the place was only half full and our server seemed truly overwhelmed. After twenty minutes we all had our drinks. Next up the task of ordering, that seemed to go smoothly enough. But that was the only thing that went well. Next round of drinks, he gets everyone's order, but brings the wrong drinks. As to the food, it came out rather slowly, but what can you do. Might I remind you the place is still only half full. My steak was not cooked to temperature. It was over cooked and a bit soggy due to the sauce. But there was no way I was sending it back, after it took so long to arrive. Now to the real issue, when the bill arrived, our party divided up our share. Most pitched in cash, but because I was running late to make the reservation, so I used my bank card. I got up to find that they had charged me once for the whole meal and then once again for my share of the bill. Bad but it gets worse. Not only was I double charged, but when I tried to correct it by calling the accounting department. I was stonewalled with voicemail. After leaving four messages, one each day and making several other attempts with no voicemail; I still have not gotten a single call back from the accounting department.
