Stone Fire Pizza - longish

We were looking forward to Chicago style pizza at Stone Fire on La Cienega. It was Sunday night and the restaurant was essentially empty, so it wasn't as if they were swamped with orders. Our server disappeared after our appetizers were served. We had been told that it takes 40 minutes for a Chicago style pizza, and after an hour's wait, we were getting anxious. Our server finally reappeared and said that she would check on our pizza right away. Bottom line, long after we were supposed to be served pizza, there was no pizza, and no update on the pizza, so we paid for our drinks and appetizers and walked out. The manager stopped us on the sidewalk and said that they had burned our pizza, and would we mind waiting another 40 minutes and they would make another one! He didn't even offer to comp us for our appetizers. Needless to say, we're never going back.

I tried Stone Fire the other day, the service is terrible I didn't try the chicago style pizza but I did try the thin pizza and it was very good. I would never pay the retail price for the pizza but they have 1/2 priced pizza @ happy hour which is 11am to 7pm on weekends. pizzas are 1 size (personal size) it's too bad that there service is so bad becaus i like the pizza but probably won't be going back anytime soon.
