upscale southern/soul for nice birthday dinner?

Any alternatives to B. Smith's or Jezebel? Which of those is better? What happened to Ida Mae's?

            not sure what is authentic southern/soul but the food at voyage is awesome and the cuisine is described as sothern/cajun. also heard good things about lola (but haven't eaten there myself)
