I would like to thank kathryn for her great rec for brunch. The food (lobster benedict & country eggs/w sausage, bacon , grits, and a wonderful biscuit with gravy) was absolutely perfect. And cudos to chowhound for giving us "chowhounds" a place to give and get great info from other foodies.

I'm so glad you liked it. It's definitely my to-go for a great (no line) UWS brunch. Shhh... :)

The lines are starting... glad to see as it is well-deserved unlike the ridiculous line for Good Enough to Eat. I never understood why that place commands the lines outside.

neptune room and good enough both have good, fresh food.they should both be recognized for getting that right. you can taste the difference in the eggs, bread etc...when a breakfast/brunch restaurant is mindful of fresh ingredients. that's why good enough to eat has lines... although the rooms look different, the food at both is better than average crap..
