Tallahassee's Cypress: good grub, paltry portions
Wife and I decided to try again last night. No drinks. Shared one app: smoked shrimp, pretty good. She had the vegetarian plate and I had the king salmon. Both good, but for $28 I could have stood a piece of salmon larger than my index and bird finger. Least expensive bottle of pinor noir on the list, 2 coffees and 1 piece of lemon meringue pie ice cream...interesting but would not order it again. Anyway, bill around $115 before tip.
Still second fiddle to Sage or Liam's in my opinion.

I think that you're right. But I do like Cypress for lunch.

Liam's is on 319 in Thomasville just past Broad Street. They are not open for dinner every night. They are also opened for lunch certain days of the week and brunch on weekends. Dinner is where Scott shines. Great atmosphere and byob with a small corkage fee.
