<content>I had a general question about how spirulina tastes.
http://www.chowhound.com/topics/409660

In the process I skimmed some recipes from the web, so I guess they are better here. I'd be interested if anyone else has a recipe.

This looks like it might be good ....
Dragonfruit lime drink with spirulina

This recipe uses it as a garnish on Lobster-Filled Squid Ink Ravioli in Lobster Consomme

So ... can it be used to sprinkle on things like salad or entrees? What would it pair well with? I'm guessing sea food.

This site has a recipe for guacamole with spirulina ... it's a UK site ... so spirulina chippies are baked potato chips.

The green beans, avocado dressing and garden baked potatoes sound good here ... the gravy verde &amp; tofu gravy ... not so much. I'm undecided about the Leprechaun Macaroons

<content>Per your request on the other thread.... I was unable to find a recipe for Spirulina soup... but I will try to come up with a recipe based on memory of what I tasted. In the meantime I found a recipe for Tempura Tofu with Spirulina....

The tofu is carved into thick strips... battered &amp; fried, then dusted with Thyme &amp; Spirulina to taste... served with a melange of carmelized onions, garlic, mushrooms &amp; green chiles... and a lime-mayo dressing.
