Kosher catering at Crest Hollow Country Club

Hi, I'm posting this for a friend of mine. She is contemplating having a kosher wedding at Crest Hollow Country Club (8325 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury, New York 11797).

They told her that she can use Simcha Caterers, (I'm not sure where they are based) and I believe they use Kay Kosher Supervision, 73-09 136th Street, Kew Garden Hills, Rabbi Solomon Shapiro, Rabbinic Administrator; Rabbi Mordechai Shapiro, Associate Administrator.

Does anyone have any experience or information they can share? She would really apreciate it.

I think that Celebration (Mauzone) also caters at Crest Holllow.

I always understood that they had their own in-house Glatt Kosher caterer.

    2. I had my wedding there, and so did my sister-in-law, and I can say the only bad thing about both weddings was that at mine (going to be ten years in August) was that they did not refil the cavier bar, other then that, the food was amazing. We used New Star, and they were still there 4 years ago for my SIL.

The do a wonderful job, and will work with the family. We had an outdoors chupah, and it was really pretty and nice.

Crest Hollow has in house Glatt Kosher but also allow a few outside caterers. The main one that people use s Mauzone's catering by Celebration. In my opinion, a million times better than the in house.

      2. Hi,

I'm getting married at CrestHollow and using Simcha Caterers. They are really good, my sister and a few of my cousins used them and were happy with their service. Food and presentation is really good.
