Kid-friendly eatery for Sunday brunch/lunch?

We have friends and their 2-year old in town this weekend, and we want to go to brunch or lunch on Sunday at a kid-friendly establishment. Any recommendations? Bubby's is the only place that comes to mind.

  1. Landmarc and La Bonne Soupe are both very kid-friendly.

    1. Kobe, as always, has made two good suggestions.

There are many, many places that are kid-friendly, so it would be helpful to know what neighborhood you want to eat in. That said, here are some other options:

      Penelope -
      Trattoria Trecolori -
      Otto -
      Junior's -
      Ellen's Stardust Diner - http://www.ellensstardustdiner
The Boathouse in Central Park -

We're open to any Manhattan location, really. all these suggestions look great, thanks for your help.

      2. Petite Abeille, particularly on 20th & 1st, is very kid-friendly.

        1. I'm a fan of Cowgirl - when I have kids, I'll bring them there.

          1. Depending on what time you go, believe it or not, Balthazar in SoHo is a great option for toddlers. We've taken our two year old there for breakfast and lunch recently, and I remain impressed with how well the wait staff deals with children. They appear to have an unlimited supply of high chairs, offer crayons and paper, and, while they don't have a children's menu per say, there are lots of great options, particularly on the breakfast menu, for kids.
