Looking for dinner recs near Oak Brook Hills Resort

Will be there for a week and would like to hear of any dinner recs in the nearby vicinity (5 mile radius). Any and all welcome.

I suggest Capital Grille (yorktown mall area) for some really good dry aged steaks...Parkers Ocean Grill (mainstreet and butterfield) for seafood...and if you feel like a little drive...Vie in western springs...GREAT dinners! And the desserts...whoaaa....

You should not pass up Sequel on the north side of Yorktown Mall in Lombard, west of OakBrook (not in the mall, but on the northside outlot, near the Westin Hotel under construction). Extremely creative and memorable dining.

I've heard alot about sequel...any menu suggestions?

They offer a scallop appetizer which is excellent, but I understand they change the accompanying ingredients from time to time. That being said, I also hear that the other ingredients are also outstanding, so you can't miss by ordering it. Try their nightly specials or regualr menu for appetizers and entrees. You will not be disappointed.

I like Tuscany's in Oak Brook. It's on the ground floor of an office tower at 83 & 22nd.

There are a couple of my favorites close by (in my order)

1. Vincitori (Westmont-Cass Ave)
2. Za Za's (Clarenden Hills-Ogden Ave)
3. Tin Fish (Oak Brook-22nd St)
4. Westmont Brat House (Westmont-Cass Ave) It is not fancy, but the food is great & authentic.

Many will also recommend Amber in Westmont, but it is too goat cheese & pine nuts for me!

My schedule only allowed one "free" night. Several of us escaped the Marriott and went the low key route. Ate at Westmont Brat House. Food was great and ate out on the patio. Beer and brats!!! Thanks for the tip.
