I just found out about this place

http://www.leeturkeyfarm.com/

has anyone bought and cooked one of their birds?

If so, how much better is it than a supermarket turkey?

My sister used to live a few blocks from Lee's and we have been going there for years. The turkeys are great! Much more tender than the supermarket turkeys. One year, we did the deep fry turkey, which was very tasty. Lees also has a farmstand (good sized one) . The farmstand has about the best corn I have ever had in my life. They have great pies and inexpensive cut flowers there as well. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. I always stop there if I happen to be in the area. Worth checking out!

Thanks, mschow. I'll check it out this weekend.
