After reading about this place many times, I decided to check it out.
Their Salad for $3.99 was an entire meal...a huge bowl of greens, with
huge chunks of avocado, thinly sliced tomoto and onion and just enough
I had to take home my veggie empanada coz I was too full.
Who else makes a similiar empanada?...curious now to go on an "empanada" competition.LOL
At last count, somewhere around 40 varieties, hugely inexpensive. Somewhere around 1.50 to 2 per empanada. Same family as the good folks from Segovia Meats next door, who do the multuple varieties of fresh (uncooked) chorizo and adobo marinated meats. My favourite chorizos are the Guatemalan.
