Blues bar in Logan Circle!!?!

I was there last Saturday night - don't know the name of it - but it's almost next to Logan Tavern, red face building that says live music. I hate to admit but I first thought it was a strip club because there are no windows. I heard the music coming and ventured in. Holy crap it was awesome!! Why was no one there? The music was unbelieve, cheap drinks, and it was empty. For an hour it was me and 2 other people. Anyone know about it, go there, like it, love it, why isn't it packed?

We love Vegas Lounge. Been a few times for late night drinks and dancing.
Never tried thefood so can't vouch for it, but excellent live music.

You're almost surely talking about the New Vegas Lounge, which is more known to Europeans visiting DC than it is to the people who live here. It is mentioned in some European guidebooks as a place to experience American culture. I have never eaten there, so can't really say if it Chowworthy.

You are correct that it is called the New Vegas Lounge; 1415 P. St. NW. I stopped by tonight (Thursday) hoping to catch some blues but the door was locked. The neighborhood is very nice with some other good spots to sit and idle away some time. Parking was a bit of a pain, but easily overcome around the corner.

is it on 14th street? I know there is a Jazz and blues bar there called HR 57 (not sure this is accurate), owned by a member of congress I believe, sounds promising.
