New sandwich shop in Westwood

I was going to Bella Pita for lunch yesterday when I drove by this new Sub shop next to Diddy Reese. It is called Socko's. The sell skinnie subs for about $3.00 there bigger ones go from $4.00 to $8.00. I had the $8.00 sub it had Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Salami, Pepperoni, two different cheeses and vegetables. It was huge. The sandwich was really good. I recommend for a good quick lunch spot.

  1. They let Trojans eat in Westwood?

Yeah, my wife's a Bruin so I have a pass to eat in Westwood.

    2. Wow, thats a good sandwich. Got the turkey avocado for dinner and Diddy Reese for desert. I have never seen speed like that anywhere in my entire life. I had my sandwich before the girl could give me my change. I'm a picky eater, the only reason I would go back is because all the produce/meats/cheese are sliced daily in the store. The big bonus is all the breads are baked fresh in the store through out the day. I'd say good job to Socko but give the girl on the register a raise (it's got to be tuff to keep up).
