  1. Don't know if you'd classify it as a proper restaurant, but Loreley, the German Beer Hall has a nice garden and is fun.

    1. crispo! it is on southside of 14th street.

      1. I second Crispo. Also Cacio e Pepe

The garden at Cacio e Pepe is rather uninviting. No flowers or plantings of any sort. During the day, there is no shade except at one table located under a tree. That would not, of course, be a problem in the evening.

        2. Le Jardin: http://www.lejardinbistro.com/

            2. I went to bar-bo-ne on B between 11th and 12th last night and was pleasantly suprised. It's Italian, and the menu has both traditional and some more inventive seasonal items. I wouldn't call it fun in a boisterous, party kind of way, but it's certainly not stuffy and the food was really good, not expensive and the garden is really nice.
