Mozza - Kids?

  • 9

Has anyone ever seen any kids at Mozza? I would never take a kid there during dinner or during the week for lunch, but I'm thinking maybe a Sunday afternoon. Anyone ever seen any kids in the house?

  1. I can't recall having seen kids at Mozza however I don't think there is any reason to believe they are not welcomed.
The one caveat I can think of would be that kids might get antsy if there was a wait, so I think you'd want to make certain you had a table reservation.

    1. Yes - I understand Sunday afternoons are very popular for families with kids. We asked about it when we were last there for lunch during the week. We haven't made it on a Sunday yet, but I know my 4 year old will love it when we do. And she'd very much want to sit at the pizza bar, too.

I was there on Monday and though I did not see any kids I think it is a welcoming space that kids would like. High energy, fun paper placematts and clean delicious food. I would take my son in a heartbeat and I know he would LOVE it.

      2. My sister has been taking my nieces there every other Sunday for pizza or paninis. They seem to really love it and the hostess is good about getting them a seat at the pizza bar.

        1. One of my friends brought his two year-old son and it was fine. The hostess even brought him some crayons and a coloring book. And the food lends itself to a certain casualness that seemed to put the toddler at ease -- he did not have to sit still for two hours, as if we had taken him to a really fancy restaurant.

          1. We've taken our kids, ages 4 and 7, to Mozza. It was for a sunday luch, w/o reservations. The hardest part was waiting for seats at the bar to open for 4.
Kids loved the food once we were seated. They do offer a "Mozza" coloring page and crayons for the kids so they are prepared for kids dining there.
I wouldn't hesitate taking my kids there for dinner. But only with reservations and on the early side..6pm.

            1. The last time I was at Mozza we walked in without reservations and were seated at the wine bar (not the bar in front of the pizza oven). A family of four with two relatively small kids were seated around us and we moved down so they could sit together. The kids got coloring books so it seems they were quite accomodating.

              1. I've seen a dad and his son, a couple of times, mid afternoon on weekdays...both having a very nice time. The staff seems to know them and WELCOME them.

Happy chowing with your 'pups !!!

                1. I have sat next to two very well behaved daughters and their mother. No complaints at all.
