Hey everyone,

I'm having lunch with a friend tomorrow and I'm looking for a good lunch spot near Sunset and Doheny, which is within walking distance for me.

I hear Ham-Ham (just Hamlet on Sunset now, apparently) is decent ... but I'd like options if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Asia de Cuba is the best in my opinion - it's not a short walk, so either plan to walk a ways, or just take a cab. It's in the Mondrian Hotel on Sunset just east of La Cienega. One of my favorite lunch places ever. The food is sort of Cuban fusion. I highly recommend the duck tacos and the plaintain fried rice with avocado. Great view of the city. It is not the cheapest place, but I think it's worth it. Here is a 3rd party link to a menu:

Yep. I actually prefer it for lunch, because they don't serve family-style at lunch like they do at dinner. I'm not a big family-style person...
