Romano in Viareggio

I am going to be spending the weekend in Viagreggio. The restaurant I've really seen a review for was Romano. Have any chowhounds been to Romano? Any other recommendations? Lunch and/or Dinner.

I realize this is a very old post, but just in case anyone else is looking for the information, I ate there last week with some friends, and it was absolutely lovely. It is still a Buon Ricordo restaurant. We went in rather late, around 10 pm, and didn't have much to eat (but the Buon Ricordo dish, as described above, is without question the best fish soup I have ever eaten), but they treated us incredibly well. It's expensive, but if you are looking for a blow-out dinner place, this is the one--assuming you are into fish. It's a lovely place. I will definitely go back there on my next trip, for a several-course meal.

My family and I ate there about two years ago. A very friendly, but somewhat fancier appearing place. It was at that time a Buon Ricordo place, meaing if you ordered their special dish, which at that time was a soup of faro, vegies, and fish (quite good), tou received a plate commerating the visit and the dish. I would go back in a heatbeat.
