What are your favorite restaurants of all kinds, that you would recommend to someone based in Boca, and planning to go south to Miami Beach for a day, and north to West Palm Beach. I'm looking for suggestions at all these locations, and anywhere in between.
Please include some details. Thanks!

The Chinese Place in N. Miami, Fu Xing is very good.

In Boca, avoid Jon's Place. Very rude to customers. The Israeli places are good.

In Hollywood, I love Bon Ami. Israeli dairy. Really wonderful. My Favorite Cafe, Italian and Mexican dairy, also excellent.

In Plantation, Sunrise Pita is the best.

Ok, here goes...iforgive stream of consciousness: in Sunrise / Bal Harbor area we ate at Cine Citta Cafe. http://www.cinecittamiami.com/menu.php We went for lunch, with the baby (at the time she was 15 wiggly months, you get the picture). There were apparently other venues in that neighborhood, but we had a delicious almost romantic dairy like you can get in Italy meal. Very schiapparelli pink, but with a cool vibe. Remember those cappio commercials? Fresh bread!

We had tried to go to Pita Loca in Miami Beach but somehow this not frum from birth mommy forgot what the middle of March is (no, not time to clean the kitchen for pesach, but spring break) so we never got there. I bought the kosher restaurants magazine and pita loca looks clean, modern..but that's all I can say, have not been.
Aventura: Not sure there's anything worth stopping for there. Last time was pre-pesach shopping at Sarah's tent. In the same plaza, there are several restaurants. We ate at the place which replaced Prime Grille (Prime 18 I believe it's called) in Aventura. You can skip it, not at the same level as Prime Grille in NYC. They have sushi, steak and mexican, but didn't see anything of interest on the Mexi menu either...China Bistro was good for sushi, but in a non-authentic way - i.e. lots of fried rolls that you have to be in the mood for. Also hip drinks. Martinis and such. Was nice to sit outside (in March, not now I am sure) and sip a drink, sushi...
Budget-conscious/ let's just eat now: We stayed in the Westin Diplomat (thanks Starwood points) and about 5-10 min drive south on 1a was Bissaleh- dairy, Israeli melawach (my husband is Yemenite, so any destination with Melawah is officially sanctioned) dishes...etc.Had a mojito there...it was great. We have eaten many times at Lul, again, it's an israeli vibe more than a chowish one, but this one's meat and not dairy.

Yea ive been the to Pomegranate before in Boca, it was actually suprisingly very good quality food, the prices were decent to high. They have some great meat foods there i enjoyed the atmosphere and the way they presented the food. I think its going to be one of the upcoming restaurants of South Florida, kosher of course. They have a website too, its a new twist to kosher dining, with its atmosphere and menu. http://www.pomegranaterestaurant.net/

We've eaten a number of times at Mamale. The food and service are superb! They also serve about half a dozen Israeli salads as a starter to the meal included in the price and a home-made desert. I ate one of the best steaks I have ever eaten in my life there. It's called "Samsons Pillars" and came with three really tasty home-made sauces on the side,

The fish wraps are really good, though.

Anyone tried the new pita places in Hollywood yet?
