My New Toys
So I just got married and last weekend we opened all our gifts. I have a whole set of All Clad MC2 now, which is amazing, as well as all the exciting Le Creuset pieces I look forward to searing, braising and baking in. But the real prize that I spent all yesterday testing out is the Cuisinart electric pressure cooker. That's right. Black beans and rice (we're back from our honeymoon in Costa Rica) in 28 minutes! Then, a three pound roast in 56 minutes. I swear, I love this thing. I especially love that it has saute and sear settings to get the food started, and the kitchen stays cool and pleasant. I swear, it's amazing!
The only problem now is that I'm only cooking for two and have already run out of freezer room! But I think that's been my problem for a while....
