Babbo... tasting menu or regular menu?

I'm going to be eating at Babbo soon and I was wondering if people prefer the regular menu or the tasting menu? Which one has given you the best overall experience? Thanks!

We've only been once. We did both, if you can believe it. Actually, we chose the pasta tasting menu and then inserted an extra course, the beek cheek ravioli, in to the middle of it all.

I've heard amazing things about the Babbo salumi... do you have to eat it in house, or can you order some to take home?

I always go for the regular menu, since a few Babbo classics are not part of the tasting menu. if you know what to order, you can customize your own tasting menu.

What are some of the Babbo classics?

When I go I always get the following:

Apps: Grilled octopus, lamb's tongue (a must)
Pasta: beef cheek ravioli, mint love letters and the black spaghetti with rock shrimp

I don't even bother with Secondi.
